An estimate of the number of cases and example of interesting cases you deal with in each given area you work in?
I generally work on a small number of cases at any one time. At the time of writing I am acting on some commercial litigation matters for breach of contract, an Italian piece of litigation for cross-border contractual services, an instruction about document legalization, an instruction to protect the trading name of a UK Limited company, advice on contract law in relation to interior design services and royalties agreements.
An interesting case is the Italian litigation for the evidence we are providing to support the legitimacy of an English limited company to be party in the proceedings and claim for the payment of its fees.
Another interesting case is the claim for a client who is a Lithuanian company against a German company for a project realised in UK (in Scotland) and governed by the law of England & Wales.
Percentage of time spent on your areas?
100% Company and Commercial
Complexity and types of issues you deal with?
Cross-border commercial issues and application of the law of the other Country, mainly between England and Italy.
