Solicitor

Lyndsay worked as a Trainee Solicitor in our Family and Commercial Departments, prior to qualifying as a Solicitor with Jamieson Alexander on 1 August 2018. 

Prior to working with us, Lyndsay gained experience working in the legal department of a local authority and also worked for five years as a Paralegal in Residential Property.

Lyndsay studied Law at the University of Leicester where she obtained an upper second class LLB Hons degree in Law (EU) in 2011 where she studied abroad for a year in Denmark. Lyndsay completed the LPC part time, whilst working full time and attained a Distinction in 2016.

In her free time, Lyndsay enjoys drinking prosecco, going to the theatre and travelling.

Approximately 60% commercial, 40% commercial property & other property matters.

Complexity and types of issues you deal with?

Commercial: non-contentious commercial matters, including terms of business, supplier and customer contracts, data protection matters, consumer matters, framework agreements, employment agreements and consultancy agreements, and general commercial advice. 

Commercial Property: Acting for clients in relation to buying and selling all types of commercial freehold and leasehold properties (both landlords and tenants), assignments of commercial leases, licences for alterations, rent deposit deeds, licences to occupy, conditional contracts, and some  residential conveyancing
